Product description
Qwiic Shield for Teensy. An expansion board that allows Qwiic-compatible devices to be connected to Teensy boards via I2C. The board breaks out the I2C bus (GND, 3.3 V, SDA and SCL) to four Qwiic connectors, simplifying the connection of sensors and modules without the need for soldering between devices.
The module is designed for Teensy 4.1, 3.6, and 3.5 and follows their footprint, providing stable and direct mounting via pin headers. Two connectors are horizontal and two are vertical, offering flexibility in cable routing and system layout.
The Qwiic system enables easy daisy-chaining of multiple I2C devices, provided they have unique addresses. This makes it possible to build modular systems with multiple sensors without complex wiring.
The board also features a PROG button electrically connected in parallel with the programming button on the Teensy, allowing easy access to programming mode directly from the shield.
Delivered with pin headers (not pre-soldered).
