Product description
Expansion board from SparkFun that makes it easy to connect Qwiic-compatible sensors, displays, and other I2C modules to the Teensy 4.0. The board mounts directly on top of the Teensy and provides four Qwiic connectors, allowing projects to be expanded without having to solder connections to each individual module.
The board connects the Teensy's I2C bus (SDA and SCL), as well as 3.3 V and GND, to the four Qwiic connectors. Two connectors are mounted horizontally and two vertically, providing flexibility for cable routing and installation in enclosures. Thanks to the Qwiic system's daisy-chaining capability, multiple I2C devices can be connected to the same bus, provided they use different I2C addresses.
The expansion board has the same form factor as the Teensy 4.0 and features a PROG button connected in parallel with the Teensy's own programming button. This makes it easy to activate programming mode even when the expansion board is mounted on top of the Teensy.
The board also features connection points for 3.3 V and GND, as well as a solder jumper for selecting the I2C address.
