IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This battery does not include a built-in protection circuit and must therefore be used together with an external protection circuit or a BMS (Battery Management System).

The protection circuit safeguards the cell against overcharging, overheating, overcurrent, deep discharge, and short circuits. If any parameter moves outside the safe range, the BMS intervenes by interrupting the process or issuing an alert.

Incorrect charging or discharging can lead to thermal runaway, which may result in explosion or fire. A protection circuit is essential for safe operation.

Charging under controlled conditions also reduces harmful wear and helps maintain optimal cell performance over time, even after many charge cycles.

Safety instructions:

  • Never charge or discharge the cell without a protection circuit (BMS). The maximum charging voltage is 4.2 V.
  • Never deep discharge – do not allow the cell voltage to drop below 2.5 V.
  • Do not discharge the cell with a current higher than the specified value.
  • Do not charge the cell with a current higher than the specified value below.
  • Do not short-circuit the cell.
  • Do not mix cells of different types, brands, or usage levels in the same battery pack.
  • Use the cell only within the temperature limits specified by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use or attempt to charge physically damaged or defective cells – recycle them properly.
  • Do not allow contact with water or any liquids.
  • Never reverse polarity.
  • Do not solder directly onto the cell terminals. Use a spot welder for nickel tabs or a suitable battery holder.
  • Do not expose the cell to strong mechanical shock.
  • Do not immerse the cell in water or seawater and avoid any contact with moisture or liquids.
  • Do not disassemble or modify the cell.
  • Do not use or store the battery in direct sunlight or in a heated vehicle.
  • Keep the battery out of reach of children.
  • Do not handle or store the cell together with metal objects that may cause a short circuit.
