27 W USB-C PD power adapter with GaN technology. Designed for use with Raspberry Pi 5. Delivers up to 5 A, providing sufficient power to supply peripherals with higher current demand. The total current available from the four USB ports on the Raspberry Pi 5 is by default limited to 600 mA. With a 5 A USB-C PD power adapter, this can be increased to 1.6 A. The adapter complies with the USB-C PD standard and can also be used to charge or power other devices such as tablets and smartphones.
