The VEML7700‑TR from Vishay is a digital ambient light sensor with I²C output. It measures brightness from 0-140000 lux around the 550 nm wavelength.
Wide dynamic range and a 16 bit resolution. Expressed in terms of light, this results in 0.0042 lux resolution.
Built-in temperature compensation and lamp flicker filtering (100 and 120 Hz).
Surface mount SMD-4 package, the light sensor faces sideways.
Supply voltage: 2.5 to 3.6 V.

Current consumption in shutdown mode: ~0.5 µA
