Product description
Water-protected One-Wire Temperature Sensor. The LK-Temp2 is a compact temperature sensor designed for easy connection to both Raspberry Pi and Arduino. The sensor uses the well-known DS18B20 technology for reliable temperature measurement via the One-Wire interface, making it ideal for projects in measurement and control engineering, data logging, or monitoring.
Features:
- Water-protected design – enables use even in humid environments
- Easy connection – directly to Raspberry Pi (GPIO BCM4) or Arduino (e.g., D4)
- One-Wire communication – multiple sensors can be connected to the same data line
- Wide range of applications – from laboratory measurements to embedded projects
Technical Data:
- Sensor: DS18B20 (digital temperature sensor)
- Interface: One-Wire
Supported platforms:
- Raspberry Pi (requires activation of One-Wire in the system configuration)
- Arduino (compatible with DallasTemperature and OneWire libraries)
- Supply voltage: 3.3 V (Raspberry Pi) or 5 V (Arduino)
- Typical measurement range: -55 °C to +125 °C (depending on DS18B20 specification)
- Resolution: 9–12 bits (programmable)
Integration:
Example programs in Python are provided for Raspberry Pi. For Arduino, ready-to-use libraries and code examples are available to ensure quick setup. This makes the LK-Temp2 particularly suitable for education, prototyping, and IoT applications.
