Product description
MCP4231 – Digital potentiometer 10 kohm. The MCP4231 is a dual-channel digital potentiometer (digipot) from Microchip with 7-bit resolution (129 steps) and is controlled via an SPI interface. It functions as an electronically adjustable resistor or voltage divider and is well suited for applications where mechanical potentiometers need to be replaced with a digitally controllable solution.
Each channel has a linear step length and can be used independently or together. The device is volatile, which means that the last set value is not saved. The MCP4231 returns to its midpoint value at start-up.
