Product description
MEMS microphone with PDM output and JST-SH connector. The microphone is a MP34DT01-M from ST Microelectronics with omnidirectional characteristic. The output signal is a digital PDM (Pulse Density Modulation) signal, which needs to be filtered and decimated in a microcontroller. The microphone also needs a driving clock signal, (1 - 3.25 MHz), to which the PDM data is synchronized. It is also possible to use the microphone by generating a clock signal and filtering it in the analog domain.
Light weight, small size and low power consumption make it suitable for compact and battery-powered projects, IoT devices, home automation, etc.
