PD Stepper is an integrated motor control module for NEMA 17 stepper motors that combines a powerful microcontroller, a quiet motor driver, and position feedback in a single unit. It is powered via USB-C PD (Power Delivery), for example from a standard USB-C charger. The controller is based on an ESP32-S3 microcontroller that handles communication and control, while the quiet TMC2209 driver controls the stepper motor using advanced algorithms to reduce mechanical noise. An integrated magnetic encoder enables closed-loop feedback for improved positioning accuracy compared to traditional open-loop systems.
The product is intended for applications where precise motor control via USB-PD is required, such as IoT-controlled mechanical systems or automation projects. Connection to a computer or power source is made via USB-C.
Space-saving design, mounts onto the back of the stepper motor.
Stepper motor and USB-PD power supply are not included.
