Panasonic FR-A is a series of high-quality radial aluminum electrolytic capacitors with low ESR and low impedance. The series is designed for circuits where the capacitor is subjected to relatively high ripple currents and where low losses are desired. The combination of low ESR, a temperature rating of up to 105 °C, and a specified lifetime of up to 10,000 hours makes the FR-A series particularly suitable for power supplies, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, as well as filtering and decoupling in electronic circuits.
