Product description
IRF520 MOSFET driver module. Module for controlling larger loads from, for example, a microcontroller, logic circuit, push button or sensor. The module has an IRF520 (N-channel MOSFET), a LED that shows the status of the control signal, and screw terminals for supply voltage and output. The control signal is sent to the pin header and should be approximately 5 to 10 V. The module can be used both to turn a load on/off and for PWM control.
Areas of application:
- LED strips and lighting
- DC motors
- Pumps
- Solenoid valves
- Control of contactor
Connection to microcontroller:
- SIG – control signal (3.3* or 5V signal level)
- VCC – Not connected
- GND – Ground (minus)
Connection screw terminals:
- VIN: Drive voltage (max): 12-24 VDC**
- GND: Ground (minus)
- V- : Negative pole for load
- V+: Positive pole for load
Other:
- Max load: 1A (up to 5A with heat sink)
- LED indicates when control signal is activated
- Dimensions: 34 × 26 mm
- Hole pattern: c-c 28.6mm / ø3mm
* at lower loads, the control signal can operate down to approx. 3.3 V
** operates down to 5 V if the load current is low
