Adafruit Micro SD SPI / SDIO Card Breakout Board is a compact breakout board for reading microSD cards. Designed for 3.3V systems. The board supports both SPI and SDIO communication and is suitable for projects where external storage is desired for applications such as data logging, audio files, or image handling. The board is supplied with a pin header strip (not pre-soldered).
The breakout board uses 3V logic and according to the manufacturer is not intended for direct connection to 5V signals without level shifting. The board can be used with several microcontroller platforms that support SPI or SDIO.
