Product description
MCP3008 is a 10-bit A/D converter with eight analog input channels and an SPI interface. The inputs can be configured as single-ended or pseudo-differential, and the internal sample-and-hold circuit ensures stable measurements. The converters operate from a 2.7 to 5.5 V supply and can reach up to 200 kSPS at 5 V. Active current consumption is around 500 µA and standby current is typically 5 nA, making them suitable for battery-powered systems. The devices are available in multiple package options and support SPI modes 0,0 and 1,1.
