MAX485 is a driver for RS-485 and RS-422. The circuit is slew-rate limited to reduce EMI and is capable of transfer speeds up to 250kbps. Powered with 5V. Fully protected against short-circuit, excessive power and temperature. Suitable driver for transferring balanced signals over long distances via cable. The MAX485 is used in many DMX controllers.
