Product description
Pimoroni LiPo Amigo Pro is a compact charging module for rechargeable LiPo and Li-ion batteries with a nominal voltage of 3.7 V. The module features a USB-C connector for power input and a 2-pin JST-PH connector for connecting the battery.
Charging is controlled by an MCP73831 charging IC with a preset charging current of 200 mA. By bridging the solder jumper marked FAST CHARGE on the back of the PCB, the charging current can be increased to 500 mA. A red LED indicates when the battery is charging.
The module comes fully assembled and is designed for charging single-cell LiPo or Li-ion batteries.
