LIN Bus module (Master/Slave) featuring the Microchip MCP2004A LIN transceiver. The module provides an easy way to connect a microcontroller to a LIN network and is suitable for the development and testing of LIN-based systems. LIN is widely used in modern vehicles for communication between electronic control units, such as seat control systems and other body electronics.
The module can be configured as either a LIN master or LIN slave by closing the JP3 jumper. It supports both 3.3 V and 5 V logic levels and provides load dump protection up to 43 V. Power can be supplied via a 2.1 mm DC barrel jack or a screw terminal. Documentation includes a schematic and an Arduino project.
