Product description
EK029 Police Flasher Red/Blue with 24 LEDs – Soldering kit from Electrokit. Simulate police-style flashing light patterns with this educational electronics kit.
The EK029 is a compact and educational kit that recreates a flashing light sequence using 12 red and 12 blue LEDs – inspired by the light signals of American police cars. It is ideal for anyone interested in exploring digital logic, timer circuits, and transistor driving.
The flashing pattern is controlled by a 4017B decade counter, whose outputs are activated in sequence and combined with diodes to form a simple OR logic. This results in three quick flashes of the blue LEDs followed by three quick flashes of the red LEDs. The timing pulses are generated by a classic NE555 timer with adjustable frequency. Each LED is driven via NPN transistors (BC547C), ensuring reliable operation even at higher current loads.
The kit is well suited both as a practical exercise in electronics education and as a hobby project for technology enthusiasts.
