Yuasa NPW45-12 is a valve-regulated (VRLA) high-rate lead-acid battery intended for applications such as UPS systems. NPW45-12 is a direct replacement for APC RBC17 #17. The battery is designed for high-rate discharge and has low internal resistance (typically 24 mΩ at 1 kHz), which enables high discharge currents, for example up to 105 A for 1 second. The AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) construction minimizes gas generation and provides maintenance-free operation.
