A powerful and advanced bench power supply with three independently programmable channels plus one channel of USB power. The many kinds of external control and built-in automations enable its use in development, production environments and for automated testing. A clear interface with numpad, rotary control and a large display makes it easy to use. The two main outputs can be connected in series or parallel with the push of a button. A maximum power output of 324W provides ample power for most projects.
Unlike on most bench supplies, the third output is fully adjustable from 0V and up. The maximum voltage is also 6V, 6V – better than the more common 5V.
Capable of constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV). Protected against overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent. The built-in fan is automatically regulated to minimize unnecessary noise.
The large display can show three channels and several parameters simultaneously. A waveform mode works like a basic oscilloscope, displaying waveforms of voltage, current and power in real time.
The UDP3305S-E can be controlled via USB, Ethernet or RS-232. In addition to these interfaces, there are four digital I/Os on the back, which can be used in production, and automatic testing. They can act as either inputs to control the channels, or outputs of digital signals (3.3V) based on the channels' states. Both the control destination in the channels and the output triggers are configurable.
A list mode can automatically step through pre-programmed settings to e.g. test that devices work correctly at all voltages, in automated characterization of circuits, etc. Voltage/current may also be controlled with a number waveforms.
There are 10 memory locations for saving settings. The UDP3305S-E can also read and save to USB memory (on a separate USB connector on the back).
