Product description
GRAPHIT 33 - Electrically Conductive Graphite Lacquer. Provides an electrically conductive coating based on a thermoplastic binder matrix with fine, pure graphite powder. The product offers good adhesion to metal, glass, wood, and many plastics.
Applications:
- Dissipation of electrostatic charge (ESD protection) on non-conductive surfaces
- Repair of graphite-coated PCB surfaces, e.g., in keyboards and remote controls
- ESD protection for packaging and conveyor systems
- Electroplating of plastic and other non-conductive materials
Specifications:
- Color: Black
- Surface resistivity: 1000?2000 ohms depending on thickness and application method
- Lacquer temperature resistance: approx. 90 °C
- Graphite film temperature resistance: 250?300 °C
- Drying time at room temperature: tack-free in less than 20 minutes, fully cured after approx. 4 hours
- Coverage: approx. 0.3 square meters per 200 ml aerosol
Application:
For small-scale use, GRAPHIT 33 is most easily applied as an aerosol. Shake the can thoroughly before use and spray from a distance of 20 to 30 cm onto a clean and degreased surface. Surface resistivity can be further improved by heating to 90 °C for one hour or by polishing the surface after drying.
Use only in well-ventilated areas and keep the product away from sources of ignition.
