Two-channel function generator with the most important functions. The simple interface with number pad and rotary control and short, clear manual makes it easy to use. Settings can be saved and recalled, e.g. for different students' projects in a classroom.
The bandwidth is a full 80MHz, which is a lot for an entry-level function generator. 14-bit vertical resolution and 300 MSa/s sampling frequency yield precise waveforms.
Does the usual waveforms, noise generator, Lorentz pulse, etc. as well as user waveforms (AWG). Among the modulation types are listed AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, PWM, with either internal or external modulation. Of course, the PSG9080 also has burst and sweep.
The two channels can act independently or be synchronized in frequency, amplitude, pulse width, in terms of waveform (channel 2 follows 1).
Many inputs and outputs provide extra flexibility. The PSG9080 can measure frequency or calculate pulse width (duty cycle) on Ext in. It also has a dedicated input for voltage control, as well as synchronization inputs and outputs.
Powered by 230VAC or 5V/3A. The DC option makes field use possible.
Can be controlled from a PC via USB.
Two BNC test cables and a power cable are included.
