Flirc USB v2 is an IR receiver that allows you to control your PC or Raspberry Pi using your favorite remote control. The device connects directly to a USB port and operates as a standard USB keyboard, making it compatible with virtually all operating systems without the need for special drivers.
By programming Flirc using its configuration software, you can map any button on your remote control to keyboard keystrokes. This makes it particularly suitable for media center solutions such as Kodi, home theater PCs, or other projects where discreet and reliable remote control is required. Once the configuration is saved, it is stored in the device’s internal memory, allowing it to be moved between different systems without reconfiguration.
