Well-thought-out and versatile enclosure for Raspberry Pi 5, made of extruded aluminum. The mounting options together with the smart and robust construction make the box an ideal choice in home automation, industrial applications and other fixed installations, but also for use as a small computer or e.g. for store displays or as a media center.
This version provides a M.2 interface.
The box has several clever features, including ventilation holes, room for a cooling fan (not included), brackets for mounting on e.g. a wall, desk or other furniture, two full-size HDMI outputs, a USB-C connector, a separate input for powering the defice, and a UART debug port (accessible from the outside). A pluggable screw terminal is included.
The enclosure provides access to the Raspberry Pi's ports, power switch, LED indicator and card reader. A large internal volume provides good air circulation, and enables use with many hats (e.g. PoE hat) and/or space for internal cable management. A cut-out in the side is provides an entry point for auxiliary cables, e.g. ribbon cables from cameras.
