Product description
Electret microphone amplifier with built-in automatic gain control (AGC) based on the MAX9814. The module is equipped with an electret microphone and is suitable for sound detection, audio recording, and sound-reactive projects where the sound level varies. The AGC function automatically adjusts the gain, amplifying weak sounds while reducing the gain for louder sounds to minimise distortion. The output signal can be connected directly to an analogue input on platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico, or other microcontrollers with an ADC. The gain and attack/release time can be configured using solder jumpers on the PCB.
