SCD40-D-R1 – Ultra-compact CO₂ sensor. The SCD40-D-R1 from Sensirion belongs to the new generation of photoacoustic CO₂ sensors based on NDIR technology. It combines high measurement accuracy with a very small form factor, making it ideal for integration into consumer electronics, building automation, and IoT applications.
The extremely compact design enabling space-saving constructions. Automatic compensation yields stable performance even under varying temperature and humidity conditions. Energy-efficient operation suitable for battery-powered systems, e.g. 'smart cities' or other distributed measurements.
