Product description
Olimex AVR-ISP-MK2 is a USB programmer for 8-bit AVR microcontrollers, compatible with the AVRISP mkII protocol and supporting multiple programming interfaces including ICSP, PDI, and TPI. It is intended for both development and production environments where Flash and EEPROM memories, as well as configuration bits, need to be programmed directly on the circuit board without removing the microcontroller from the application.
AVR-ISP-MK2 works with established development tools such as Microchip Studio and AVRDUDE, and is designed as open hardware with hardware schematics and firmware files available for further development.
The programmer connects to the host computer via USB-B and is powered from the USB port. It uses standardised connectors for ISP, PDI, and TPI, and can supply target circuits with 3.3 V or 5 V, selectable via jumper (max current 300mA). It operates with common operating systems including Windows and Linux together with widely used tools and libraries.
