Adafruit TCS3430 / TCS34303 is an advanced color and light sensor for projects where precise color analysis is desired. Unlike traditional RGB sensors, this model measures in the CIE XYZ color space as well as infrared light, providing raw data that can be calibrated to the desired color system. This makes the sensor well suited for light measurement, color identification, display calibration, and laboratory applications. Communication takes place via I2C, and the board is equipped with dual Qwiic connectors for quick solderless connection. The board also features level shifting for both 3.3V and 5V systems, making it compatible with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32.
