Product description
ADS1015 analog-to-digital converter module based on the Texas Instruments ADS1015 with 12-bit resolution for accurate conversion of analog signals into digital values. The module is suitable for microcontrollers without a built-in ADC or when higher resolution than the integrated converter is required. Communication is via I2C, and the ADS1015 provides four input channels or two differential inputs. The integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA) can amplify input signals by up to 16× before conversion.
The module features two Qwiic connectors for solderless I2C connections and can be daisy-chained with other compatible modules. The I2C address is selected using a solder jumper. The breakout board includes ferrite beads to reduce noise on the power supply and is supplied with a pin header (not pre-soldered) for mounting on a breadboard or prototyping board. Example code is available for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and CircuitPython.
