Product description
Breakout adapter, SMD to DIP. Allows a surface-mounted IC to be used on for example a breadboard or prototype board. Also useful since many ICs that were previously manufactured for through-hole mounting (THT) are no longer available and have been completely replaced by SMD variants. Manufactured in FR-4 fiberglass material which provides good mechanical stability and withstands repeated soldering. The adapter board is supplied without pin headers. Use pin headers with a 2.54 mm pitch.
The adapter board has two sides, allowing it to be used for two different package types: SO-14/SOP-14 (1.27 mm pitch) or SSOP-14/TSSOP-14 (0.65 mm pitch).
