SN74HC04 is a hex inverter based on HCMOS technology and contains six independent inverting gates. It is intended for general signal inversion in digital systems. The device is designed with buffered inputs and push-pull outputs, providing stable logic levels and the ability to drive multiple CMOS inputs without external amplification. The wide supply voltage range makes the SN74HC04 suitable for both 3.3 V and 5 V systems, as well as for battery-powered applications where low power consumption is desired.
