Product description
6-axis IMU motion sensor featuring the MPU-6050 from TDK InvenSense. A breakout board with a 6-axis IMU, also referred to as 6DoF (Degrees of Freedom), integrating a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope in the same package.
Used to measure motion, tilt, and rotation in projects where orientation or motion data is required, such as robotics, stabilization, or wearable electronics. The sensor can determine the direction of gravity and measure how fast a device rotates, making it possible to track movement over time.
The board includes support circuitry and level shifting so it works with both 3.3 V and 5 V logic. Communicates via I2C for easy integration with microcontrollers. Qwiic connectors enable quick solderless connection, while solder pads are available for traditional wiring. Supplied with pin headers (not pre-soldered).
