Product description
6-axis IMU micro accelerometer and gyroscope with BMI270. A small and compact IMU module designed for precise measurement of acceleration and orientation in 6 axes, which corresponds to 6DoF (Degrees of Freedom). Based on the Bosch BMI270, a highly integrated IMU with low power consumption and built-in functions for motion detection and interrupts.
The small form factor makes the module suitable for space-constrained designs, while the Qwiic connection enables quick hookup via I²C without soldering. All signals are also available via breakout header connections. Solder jumpers allow selection of the I²C address, disconnecting I²C pull-ups, or disabling the LED.
The BMI270 includes a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope with intelligent features such as step counting, gesture detection, and activity detection. This makes the module suitable for applications such as wearables, robotics, and motion analysis.
