Product description
The SIM7670G LTE Cat-1/GNSS HAT is an expansion board for Raspberry Pi that enables cellular connectivity via 4G LTE Cat-1 as well as satellite-based positioning. The board is based on the SIM7670G module and is adapted for IoT applications where both data communication and geographic positioning are required in the same solution.
The board connects via the standard 40-pin GPIO header and is compatible with Raspberry Pi as well as other Linux- and Windows-based systems. Communication is handled through network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP(S), and MQTT(S), making it suitable for applications such as remote monitoring, industrial systems, and tracking.
The module supports both LTE-FDD and LTE-TDD with data rates up to 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. The integrated GNSS function supports multiple satellite systems, providing flexibility and global coverage for positioning.
From a hardware perspective, the board offers multiple connectivity options, including a USB interface for communication and three additional USB 2.0 ports for expansion. Equipped with a SIM card slot and status LEDs.
