    The Moog Werkstatt-Ø1 is a patchable and compact, one oscillator analog synthesizer. Whats really amazing about this kit is that there is no soldering required. Thats right, the Werkstatt-Ø1 is pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. All you need to do is construct the enclosure around the synthesizer PCB (or dont), plug in a ¼" audio plug and 12V power and you are good to go! Each Werkstatt-Ø1 has a variety of interface sections you can use to control the synthesizer, such as: VCO: A single Voltage Controlled Oscillator with two selectable waveforms is Werkstatts primary source of sound. VCO MOD: Oscillator Modulation is a way of creating everything from subtle pitch vibrato, and chorus-like sounds to metallic and harsh effects. LFO: The Low Frequency Oscillator creates a cyclical modulation source that can be used to add a repeating change to any modulation destination. VCF: The Voltage Controlled Filter is a classic 24dB per octave Moog Ladder filter, which shapes sound by attenuating and/or emphasizing certain harmonic elements. VCF MOD: Filter Modulation changes the value of the Filters Cutoff Frequency. VCA: The Voltage Controlled Amplifier determines the output level of the Werkstatt. Its source is determined by the Mode switch. Envelope: Each time a key is pressed, the Envelope Generator produces control voltages that allow you to change the value of certain parameters over time KBD: The keyboard features one-octave of round buttons as opposed to traditional keys, but the layout is the same. Glide: Determines the time it takes to make a smooth pitch transition from one note to another note Patchable Header: This allows control signals generated by the Werkstatt to be easily routed to the control inputs of the VCO, VCF, VCA, and LFO. Putting together your Werkstatt is easy. No soldering is required, and all of the electronic components have been pre-assembled. The only tools you will need are a #1 Phillips screwdriver, and a good pair of scissors. The Werkstatt-Ø1 is an excellent platform for exploring the world of analog synthesizer circuits. A lifetime of experimentation, knob twisting, and sound design awaits. In the Documents section below you will find many projects from Moog to use in conjunction with your Werkstatt-Ø1. These projects include adding a photocell, volume knob, and pressure sensitive resistor or incorporating pitchblend, dual oscillator, and LFO Rate Quantizer interfaces.     The Tsunami Super WAV Trigger is the next evolutionary step beyond the original WAV Trigger. Based on a new generation ARM Cortex m7, the Tsunami extends polyphony to 32 mono or 18 stereo simultaneous uncompressed 44.1kHz, 16-bit tracks. Each track can start, pause, resume, loop and stop independently, and can have its own volume setting, allowing you to create the perfect interactive mix of music, dialog and sound effects. The Tsunami also supports true seamless looping over an arbitrary track length. The big news is that the Tsunami has 8 audio output channels, arranged as either 8 mono or 4 stereo pairs. Alternate versions of firmware support either mono and stereo architecture you choose. The mono version adds a new Synced Set trigger function that can start up to 8 mono tracks on adjacent outputs. These tracks will start and stay in sample-sync for playing stereo or even 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound content with a single trigger. Any track can be dynamically routed to any output. And each output provides independent real-time volume and sample-rate conversion (pitch bend.) Each Tsunami Super WAV Trigger has a dedicated MIDI port with an integrated opto-isolator, making it easy to connect to any MIDI controller. Tsunamis MIDI implementation includes control of volume, pitch bend, attack and release times, and the ability to route any MIDI key to any of the output channels, as well as specifying single-shot or looping playback per key. Note: It is very important to know that this is a 3.3V device, and its inputs including triggers and serial RX are not 5V tolerant!       Voice Recorder Breakout - ISD1932
    This is a breakout board for the ISD1932, a multiple-message record/playback device. This single chip can record up to 64 seconds worth of voice messages. Microphone inputs and speaker outputs are all handled by the ISD1932. A switch is connected to allow selection of the ISD1932's operating mode - address trigger or direct trigger. You must cycle the power after switching the mode. An LED is also populated on the board and will illuminate when the device is recording. An external resistor is necessary to select the record duration and sampling frequency, which can range from 21.2 - 64 seconds (4-12kHz sampling frequency). The board breaks out all pins of the ISD1932 to 0.1" spaced headers. This product comes as shown in the pictures with filtering capacitors, an LED, mode selecting switch and the ISD1932 IC. The new version of this board also includes a microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack. Note: Just to give you a ballpark idea of how this board sounds, we made a short recording for you. The gain is a touch high so any clipping is an artifact of that. The first thing you'll hear is a short clip of our Director of Engineering bragging about his credentials. After that, you'll hear that sound after it has been recorded directly into this chip and played directly out again. It gets a little better than this if you're willing to fool around with the gain resistance for a while, but you get the idea: You don't wanna listen to music on it, but it's not bad for SFX or voice messages.       WAV Trigger
    The WAV Trigger is a unique high-fidelity polyphonic audio player with surprising capabilities. Supporting up to 2048 uncompressed 16-bit, 44.1kHz wav files the same quality as an audio CD the WAV Trigger can play and mix up to 14 stereo tracks simultaneously and independently, with very low latency. Tracks can be controlled via 16 programmable trigger inputs, or by using a native serial control protocol or even MIDI. Trigger inputs can be connected directly to switches and buttons, or to digital outputs from sensors or another microcontroller. Alternate functions can be specified using a free cross-platform GUI application, and allow triggers to play sequential or random tracks, pause and resume groups of tracks and even control volume. An Arduino library allows for complex serial control like real-time mixing, starting multiple tracks in sample-sync and smooth cross-fading between tracks. On-board sample rate conversion allows for smoothly changing playback speed/pitch from 0.5x to 2x. in real-time. MIDI allows you to use the WAV Trigger as a polyphonic sampling synthesizer to play your own sounds from any MIDI keyboard controller. MIDI Channels and Note numbers are mapped to track numbers, and MIDI Controllers adjust volume as well as attack and release times. MIDI Program Change is supported to switch between up to 16 banks of 128 sounds. The WAV Trigger audio engine even implements, pitch bending, voice stealing (oldest playing voices are used for new MIDI Notes when all 14 voices are being used), note attack (fade-in), note release (fade-out) and latency averages 8 ms. The WAV Trigger supports both SDSC (up to 2GB) and SDHC (up to 32GB) type microSD cards. Check the link in the documents below to keep up with the latest Firmware updates!
