Shipping

For orders placed on-line through the webshop, a fixed shipping and handling cost is applied. The cost is displayed at checkout. No other fees will be added by Electrokit. Electrokit will ship the goods using the most appropriate method with regard to size, weight, value and destination. You do also have the possibility to specify another shipping method, for which the cost is displayed in the check-out. For shipments outside EU no VAT will be charged. But you are normally liable to pay taxes and duties in your destination country. Please check with your local post and customs before you order. We will not declare the goods as “gift” or at a lower value. For shipments to consumers in Norway we charge VAT according to the rules of the Norwegian VOEC scheme. Shipments to businesses and organizations in Norway are not charged VAT and in those cases the customer may be liable for taxes and duties according to Norwegian law. If your destination country is not listed please contact our customer service to find out how we best can serve you. For orders sent by phone, fax or e-mail shipping will be charged according to the shippers official price list.

Personal Data

We need to collect, process and store some personal data about you, in order to fulfill the order you have placed. When you place an order, or otherwise register with us, you allow us to collect, process and store the personal data you have given us. We do not sell any information about you to any third party. Some information is shared with third parties so we can fulfill the contract with you. The shipping companies must have necessary information (name, address, phone and email) to be able to deliver your parcel. Your approval includes that you allow our partner to process and store this information.

30 day returns

We allow you to return a product within 30 days after it was sent to you, if you for any reason do not want to keep it. All returns must be in their undamaged original packing and unused. ESD protective packing must not have been opened. Also returns are limited to single items. It cannot be used for large quantities without prior agreement. The customer is responsible for the cost and risk during return shipment.

Secure payments

We use Worldline as our payment processor for card and direct debit transactions. Worldline are PCI DSS certified, and the payment transaction takes place in a secure window. No sensitive card data is sent to, processed by or stored at Electrokit. All such information is kept by Worldline. When you pay by card the order amount is reserved when you place the order. The amount is charged when the delivery is commenced. We also offer pre-payment by bank.

Currencies

We do currently handle payments in SEK, EUR and USD. What currency to be used is determined by the customers country. Customers in Sweden, Denmark and Norway pay in SEK. EURO-zone customers do of course pay in EUR and the rest of the world pay in USD.

Suitability for use

Most of our products are intended for educational and experimental purposes. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify all aspects of a products suitability for his intended application, if the product will be used on a more permanent basis or as part of a final product.
