Teensy 4.1 has the same microcontroller as the previous model, Teensy 4.0, but with a slightly larger format that brings more GPIOs, space for additional external flash or RAM, Ethernet PHY, microSD socket and a header for a USB-host port. Pretty much functionality for a board in this size!
The board fits, just like any Teensy, in a breadboard or protoboard with 2.54mm pitch. Most GPIOs are broken out to these connections, but to access ethernet, USB-host and some others, wires or other connectors must be soldered to the board.
Two patterns on the bottom side can be populated with external flash or RAM.
With the Teensyduino addon to Arduino IDE, you can program Teensy 4.1 just like a regular Arduino board.
