8x8 matrix of 5x5mm NeoPixel RGB LEDs. Each LED is individually addressable and can be controlled with just one pin from a microkontroller. The panels can be chained to create larger units. Each LED has an integrated constant current driver, which makes the intensity of each LED consistent. As each LED can draw as much as 60mA at maximum intensity, a power supply that can provide atleast 2A at 5V is recommended. No external resistors are needed, just supply the board with ~5VDC and connect the data line to a micro controller!
