LM334 is an adjustable constant current source. It can be used for current limiting together with an op-amplifier, as a temperature sensor or as an adjustable current source for a diverse set of applications. The output current is set with an external resistor. A linear temperature coefficient can be obtained with just an external resistor and diode.
