KA278R33 is a voltage regulator with a fixed output voltage in a 4-pin TO-220 package. The voltage drop over the regulator is only 0.5V. Pin 4 is used for shutting down the regulator and should be connected to pin 1 to enable the output. Protected against over-current, over-voltage, temperature and short-circuit.
