Raspberry Pi är baserad på en ARM-processor från Broadcom som körs i 700MHz och har 512Mb RAM, Ethernet, HDMI och USB. Den kör Debian Linux, så viss Linuxkunskap är nödvändig för fullt utbyte, men det finns mängder av hjälp att komma igång på nätet!

The Raspberry Pi is everybody's favorite little computer, the last thing that you'd want is for something bad to happen to it. Why not protect it with one of these snazzy plastic enclosures? These cases protect the Raspberry Pi from things like rogue wires that might short it out while still allowing full access to the board! Simply snap the RPi into the bottom half of the enclosure, then snap the two sides together. The enclosure provides slots to access the peripheral header, USB ports, Ethernet, SD card, HMDI, composite video, audio, CSI and JTAG connectors as well as feet and vents to ensure the board gets proper cooling and plus-shaped wall mounting slots. All of the status LEDs on the Pi are visible through the case thanks to light pipes embedded in the design. The Raspberry Pi packs plenty of processing power in a small and inexpensive package and that makes it perfect for robot brains! The only problem? The Raspberry Pi may have plenty of low-level hardware peripherals but motor controllers aren't one of them. That's why the RaspiRobot project got started. The RaspiRobot board is an expansion board for the Pi that turns it into a robot controller. The board comes as a kit of through-hole parts which is easy to assemble with even a basic soldering iron and limited soldering experience. A step-by-step assembly guide is available to help you through the process. After you've assembled it, simply plug the RaspiRobot Board into the GPIO port on the Raspberry Pi and it provides dual bi-directional motor controllers, two open collector outputs, two switch inputs, a pair of status LEDs and even a voltage regulator capable of powering the Pi using a battery source from 7-12VDC. A Python library module makes it easy to interface with the robot hardware from your software on the Pi.   PiTFT 2.8" 320x240 TFT-skärm med touch
Is this not the cutest little display for the Raspberry Pi? It features a 2.8" display with 320x240 16-bit color pixels and a resistive touch overlay. The plate uses the high speed SPI interface on the Pi and can use the mini display as a console, X window port, displaying images or video etc. Best of all it plugs right in on top! Uses the hardware SPI pins (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0, CE1) as well as GPIO #25 and #24. All other GPIO are unused. Since we had a tiny bit of space, there's 4 spots for optional slim tactile switches wired to four GPIOs, that you can use if you want to make a basic user interface.For example, you can use one as a power on/off button. See below for the link to get the optional tact switches, they're not included. This version comes as a mini-kit, with a 2x13 extra-tall female header (to connect the plate to the Pi) and a 2x13 male header that can be used to connect an IDC cable or cobbler from the side. The photos above also show the optional installed slim tactile buttons. The tactile buttons are not included, but you can pick up a pack of 20 here. Some basic soldering is required to install the headers. You can also pick up an extra-long Pi stacking header if you want to install that instead of the 2x13 female header installed. We've created a custom kernel package based of off Notro's awesome framebuffer work, so you can install it over your existing Raspbian (or derivative) images in just a few commands. Our tutorial shows you how to install the software, as well as calibrate the touchscreen, show videos, display images such as from your PiCam and more! Display current draw is mostly based on the backlight, with full-on backlight the current draw is ~100mA.

Design your own Pi HAT, attach custom circuitry and otherwise dress your Pi A+ or B+ with this jaunty prototyping HAT kit. To kick off the Adafruit HAT party, we have this Perma-Proto inspired plug in daughter board. It has a grid of 0.1" prototyping soldering holes for attaching chips, resistors, LED, potentiometers and more. The holes are connected underneath with traces to mimic the solderless breadboards you're familiar. There's also long power strips for +3V, +5V and Ground connections to the Pi. Near the top we break out nearly every pin you could want to connect to the Pi (#26 didnt quite make the cut). This is just the basic version of our Perma-Proto HAT. It comes with a printed circuit board and a single 2x20 GPIO Header for Raspberry Pi to put your Perma-Proto on top of your Raspberry Pi (like a nice little hat...) This version does not come with an EEPROM so you can 'stack' it with other HATs without worrying about an EEPROM address collision. You can customize your Perma-Proto setup using a standard 2x20 stacking header or extra tall 2x20 stacking header. You can also swap out the 2x20 header with a slim 2x20 type if you want it to sit closer to the Pi, or an extra tall one if you want it to sit above the USB/Ethernet ports. A bit of light soldering is required to attach the header to the PCB but it's easy work. This hat is only compatible with the Raspberry Pi B+ or A+!
